Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Estimator to prepare detailed MEPT cost estimates for Shelton, CT projects. You will analyze design documents, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate with vendors for accurate pricing.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork across preconstruction and operations teams. Experience with MEP systems and cost analysis is essential, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related estimating experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, technology, and LV systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEPT/MEP cost estimates from design documents through construction documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analyses for various trades.
• Coordinate with vendors and trade partners for pricing and bid data.
• Develop scope requisitions and analyze subcontractor proposals for coverage and risk.
• Assist in preconstruction and hand-off to operations.
