Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of estimating experience, a relevant engineering or construction degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. LEED accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is required or demonstrated equivalent field work.
• LEED Accredited Professional or ability to obtain within 18 months preferred.
• Five (10) years of construction estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates at all levels of design completion.
• Be a proactive team member within project teams and assist clients and design partners.
• Develop and publish Preconstruction Status Reports including cost indicators and cash flow projections.
• Validate budgets with subcontractors and equipment vendors.
• Interpret drawings and quantify materials for construction.
• On-screen take-off of material quantities and write estimate clarifications.
• Summarize quantities in an orderly fashion.
