Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking a Branch Pre-Construction Manager in Florida to lead the estimating function and manage a team of estimators supporting $30M–$50M in annual sales. You will drive bid/no-bid decisions, develop cost models, ensure margin integrity, and align estimating with sales and operations to improve win rates and pipeline health.

The role requires disciplined analysis, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading estimating teams on multi-project bids.
• Strong cost modeling and margin analysis capabilities.
• Ability to align estimating with sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Self-perform all Estimating Functions for select high-value opportunities.
• Engage with engineers, specifiers & owners during the process.
• Perform field takeoffs and quantity verification.
• Build cost models to support bids and proposals.
• Participate in client discussions and close opportunities as needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop estimators in the branch.
