Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Senior Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our team in the Houston area. You will develop detailed cost estimates for large-scale EPC and data center projects, focusing on piping and mechanical systems.

You will perform takeoffs, pricing, and schedule development, collaborating with project teams to validate assumptions and strategies. The role requires 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, strong civil/structural

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or 10 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction, focusing on mechanical/piping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes with emphasis on piping and mechanical systems.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Accubid and Excel.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions and strategies.
• Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals.
• Develop construction schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Analyze subcontractor quotes and ensure alignment with scope and standards.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support bid reviews and handoffs; maintain estimating databases.
