Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Senior Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to support a growing portfolio of large industrial EPC and data center projects in the Houston area. The role emphasizes piping/mechanical scopes and requires deep understanding of industrial construction methods and cost controls.

You will develop detailed estimates, review drawings, and collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions, with minimal travel and a fully onsite arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of estimating experience in industrial construction.
• 10+ years estimating experience with mechanical/piping scopes.
• Advanced proficiency with Trimble Accubid and Excel.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and structural drawings.
• Experience with EPC or design-build delivery models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical scopes with emphasis on piping and mechanical systems.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review drawings, specs, and scope documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions and execution plans.
• Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals.
• Create construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Analyze subcontractor quotes to ensure alignment with scope and standards.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Support bid reviews, reconciliations, and post-bid handoffs.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.
