Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating for multi-discipline projects in the United States. You will develop capital and service estimates, analyze data to identify cost drivers, and support proposal efforts across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of estimating experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to interpret schedules and manage risk. HDR values employee ownership and collaborative design-build delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years' related experience in estimating and cost support.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office and scheduling concepts, with risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating generating capital cost and/or services estimates; data analysis identifying problems and make recommendations; and control activities for project and/or proposal efforts.
• Support estimate reporting and reviews and provide technical direction as needed.
• Execute tasks within defined parameters and prepare detailed pricing for field and home-office costs.
• Develop unit rates and crew-based costing, reflect discipline-specific items, and participate in risk analysis.
• Prepare basis of estimates, assumptions, and costing documentation; assist in reviews and presentations.
