Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating for multiple disciplines, generate capital and service estimates, and guide cost analyses for proposals and projects. You will prepare detailed pricing, advise on scope and methodologies, and coordinate with functions and vendors to ensure accurate cost projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office software.
• Advanced understanding of construction estimating concepts, scheduling and risk.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating generating capital cost and/or services estimates; data analysis identifying problems and make recommendations.
• Support estimate reporting and reviews.
• Provide technical direction to assigned personnel when delegated.
• Execute simultaneous tasks within broadly defined parameters.
• Prepare services, distributable, contractor indirect and/or capital cost estimates in specialized discipline areas.
• Prepare cost/schedule products for proposals or contract negotiations.
• Provide input on level of effort and consolidate input for costing.
