Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimating for complex projects, including capital costs and services estimates. The role involves data analysis, problem solving and coordinating with functions and vendors to consolidate costing input.

You will develop basis documentation, pricing strategies, and schedules while supporting risk analysis and contingency efforts. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in estimating, strong MS Office skills, and experience with data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ related experience in estimating / project controls.
• Strong understanding of MS Office and construction estimating concepts.
• Ability to lead small project estimates and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or discipline cost estimating and prepare capital cost estimates.
• Support estimate reporting, reviews, and technical direction to staff.
• Generate services, contractor indirect and/or capital cost estimates for multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare basis of estimates, cost/schedule products for proposals or negotiations.
• Develop unit rates and pricing for disciplines; quantify escalation and cash flow.
• Assist in developing staffing, hours, and pricing data for discipline-specific work.
• Participate in estimate reviews and deliverables for client proposals.
