Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts on large, complex projects. The role involves coordinating with the Senior Estimating Manager, preconstruction lead, operations, and BD staff across multiple locations nationwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
5–10+ years of relevant estimating experience.
Proficiency with take-off and cost estimating software.

Responsibilities

Leads the estimating deliverable for an entire project coordinated with the Senior Estimating Manager, preconstruction lead, operations team, and BD staff.
Coordinates development of Site Services general costs to align with contract requirements and trade costs.
Develops cost estimates with sound documentation and risk assessment.
Reviews project documents, prerequisites, and specifications for accurate budgeting.
Mentors estimators and contributes to value management and bid strategy.
