Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process on large, complex projects across multiple locations nationwide. This role requires expertise and is open to candidates willing to travel or relocate for exciting opportunities.

You will supervise a team of estimators, coordinate with preconstruction and operations, and develop cost models using Gilbane’s costing tools. Gilbane University provides multi-dimensional training and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
5-10+ years of relevant estimating experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

Leads the estimating deliverable for large projects with cross-functional teams.
Coordinates development of site services costs with operations, preconstruction, and BD staff.
Develops and verifies contingency and allowance values for estimates.
Assesses bid documents for project risks and opportunities.
Mentors junior estimators and supports a positive work environment.
