Job summary

ewi Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the preparation of accurate, competitive estimates for construction and infrastructure projects. Manage the estimating process from enquiry through tender submission with clear assumptions and robust analysis.

You will review drawings, BOQs, scopes, and contract documents; identify risks and opportunities; prepare cost plans and tender pricing; obtain quotations; ensure alignment with programme and delivery; mentor juniors and drive process

Qualifications

Substantial experience in a senior estimating role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or related sector.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, labour costs, procurement and subcontracting practices.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret technical information accurately.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, scopes of work and contract documents.
Prepare detailed cost plans and tender pricing with clear assumptions.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and ensure alignment with programme and delivery requirements.
Mentor junior estimators and support value-engineering and process improvements.
