Job summary

Our Client, a well-established commercial General Contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, seeks a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts for K-12 projects. You will develop conceptual and detailed estimates for ground-up and renovation work, manage multiple bids, perform takeoffs, and partner with executives, PMs, and field teams to ensure accurate GMPs and competitive proposals.

Strong K-12 experience in the DFW area is required, with a track record of building lasting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial estimating/preconstruction experience on projects.
• Direct experience with K-12 educational facilities is required.
• Strong knowledge of DFW market costs and subcontractor landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating from concept through GMP development.
• Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up, renovation, and additions.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and perform takeoffs.
• Identify risks, value-engineering opportunities, and constructability issues.
• Collaborate with executives, PMs, and field teams.
• Maintain historical cost data and market insight.
