Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience with ground-up construction preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates for ground‑up commercial projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor pricing.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop detailed estimates and bid proposals for projects up to $70M.
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist with value engineering and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings, site walks, and scope reviews.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of estimating experience who wants to take on larger and more complex projects while working alongside an experienced team.
