Job summary

Jobot in California is seeking an experienced estimator to join our top-rated GC team. You will prepare budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for CM at Risk projects, and conduct quantity takeoffs across multiple concurrent bids.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or equivalent with 7+ years in commercial construction, proficiency in Precon software (MC2, OST, Constructware, Bluebeam, Destini, Timberline, BIM360), and a track record of building confident cost strategies and client relationships.

Qualifications

BS in a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of construction estimator or preconstruction experience.
Commercial construction.
Precon software, one or more: MC2, OST, Constructware, Bluebeam, Destini, Timberline, BIM360, etc.

Responsibilities

Prepare budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects under the CM at Risk guaranteed maximum pricing model.
Conduct quantity takeoffs.
Manage multiple projects.
Develop cost strategies and foster relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
