Jobot is seeking a full-time Project Estimator with substantial commercial construction estimating experience to join our team in a preconstruction role. You will collaborate with Owners, design teams, and project management to develop accurate estimates from early budgeting through final contract execution.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in cost analysis, procurement, and subcontractor management, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Destiny (Beck Technology).

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Strong experience reviewing drawings, specifications, proposals, and related documents.
• Experience developing material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Experience with project budgets, schedules, value management and procurement.
• Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor/trade partner proposals.
• Experience preparing subcontracts and final contract estimates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Destiny (Beck Technology) estimating software is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative project environment.

Aufgaben

• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to develop accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Calculate costs for materials, purchased or leased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities, and labor.
• Prepare project budget estimates and schedules.
• Perform value management and identify opportunities for cost-effective project solutions.
• Develop procurement strategies for project materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, trade partners, and suppliers.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate trade partner proposals.
• Prepare and execute subcontracts.
• Develop and finalize contract estimates.
• Collaborate with Owners, Design Teams, and Project Management throughout the estimating and preconstruction process.
