Job summary

Railroad Construction Company, Inc. in the Greater Boston/New England region is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Estimating Department. The role focuses on risk analysis, bid preparation, and cost control for railroad construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in Estimating/PM, strong leadership, and a proven track record with civil projects up to $50M (larger projects $100M+ preferred). Proficiency in Excel, Word, Blue Beam, and Heavy Bid is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Skilled in construction means/methods and production for structures, roadways, sitework, and utilities. Experience with trackwork is a plus.
• 10+ years in Estimating/Project Management.
• Ability to deliver winning, value-driven bids.
• Experience with alternate delivery methods (e.g. Design Build) is a plus.
• Proven track record estimating civil projects up to $50M. Experience with larger projects ($100M+) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.
