Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is partnering with a leading construction company to hire an experienced estimator. The role focuses on developing precise estimates for heavy civil, underground utilities, pipe rehabilitation, guide rail and sign structures, and renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate has 6-10 years in estimation and 8-10 years in construction operations, with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office. Collaboration with owners during bid phases is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required or preferred.
• 6-8 years of estimator experience bidding on large, complex projects.
• 8-10 years in construction operations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret contract drawings, specs, and documents.

• Utilize estimating software and perform quantity takeoffs to determine labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Collaborate with upper management to review and discuss project estimates.
• Submit completed estimates to owners by specified deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience as an estimator with a track record of bidding on larger and more complex projects.
• 8-10 years of experience in construction operations.
• Strong ability to read and understand contract drawings, specifications, and documents.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with owners during the bid phase.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, Agtek, and/or Primavera software a plus.
