Job summary
Jobot is seeking a dynamic Chief Estimator to lead our Ground Up Construction estimating team. This senior role drives budgets from concept to completion and collaborates with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to secure profitable bids.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimation, strong leadership and proficiency with estimation software. Salary ranges from $160,000 to $210,000 with excellent benefits.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in ground-up construction estimation.
- Proven bid/win experience on construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and costs.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee detailed estimates and budgets from the ground up.
- Analyze plans and specs to determine scope.
- Coordinate with PMs, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather data.
- Oversee and direct all estimating teams.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations for competitive bids.
- Mentor a team of estimators and provide guidance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and material costs.
- Implement and maintain estimation software/databases.
