LeoForce is seeking a Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division in West Chester, PA. This senior role leads all estimating activities, oversees the estimating team, and ensures accurate, competitive bids from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, comprehensive project estimates and budgets from inception.
• Analyze plans and specs to determine project scope and cost.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, engineers, and contractors to collect data.
• Oversee and direct all estimating teams.
• Participate in bid reviews and present proposals to ensure competitive bids.
• Mentor and lead a team of estimators, providing guidance as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and material costs.
• Maintain estimation software and databases for accuracy and efficiency.

Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chief Estimator for our Ground Up Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our highly skilled team. This position will play a crucial role in the planning and development of our construction projects, from the initial concept through to completion. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in ground up construction and a proven track record of successful project estimation and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and overseeing comprehensive, detailed project estimates and budgets from the ground up.
2. Analyzing and interpreting construction plans and project specifications to determine project scope.
3. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.
4. Oversee and direct all estimating teams
5. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
6. Managing and mentoring a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials costs.
8. Implementing and maintaining estimation software and databases for improved accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation, specifically in ground-up construction.
2. Proven experience in successful bidding and winning construction projects.
3. A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in estimation software and other related technical tools.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
