Job summary

ColoradoCrete, a leader in gypsum underlayment and leveling services, seeks an experienced Senior Estimator to own estimating for residential and commercial projects across Colorado. The role connects field realities with bid decisions and partner collaboration.

The candidate will review plans, develop budgets, manage multiple bids, and work closely with operations to move awarded work from estimate to completion, using Procore, Autodesk, and Buildertrend.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction estimating, project management, or field ops.
• Proven ability to develop accurate estimates, budgets, bids and proposals.
• Reads and interprets drawings, specs, and technical docs.
• Understands sequencing, labor, materials, scheduling, and field ops.
• GC or larger construction org. experience valued.
• Bidding and preconstruction experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, and estimating tech.

Responsibilities

• Own the estimating process for residential and commercial projects from initial bid through award.
• Review drawings, plans, specs, and bid docs; perform quantity takeoffs and cost determination.
• Develop budgets and pricing; identify scope gaps, risks, and costs.
• Manage multiple bids with accuracy, organization, and documentation.
• Communicate with General Contractors to review scope and follow up on bids.
• Partner with leadership to transition awarded work from estimating to execution.
• Use Procore, Autodesk, Buildertrend to access plans and project data.
• Bring practical, field-oriented perspective to improve estimating processes and profitability.
