Job summary

Icon Structures in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team of builders. You’ll lead bid strategy, coordinate estimators, and prepare detailed GMP and preconstruction cost plans for commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have a construction management or engineering background, strong leadership, and expert-level takeoff/estimating software skills (Primavera P6, MS Project). We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience in estimating for commercial construction and GMP/bid processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Expert-level proficiency with takeoff and estimating platforms; scheduling tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead hard bid process for bids $2m+; coordinate estimators and coverage.
Monitor and track bid opportunities; manage bid packages and subcontractor bids.
Oversee negotiations and development of milestone budgets and GMPs.
Develop ROM pricing and provide pricing for value engineering and alternates.
Mentor junior estimators and support internal estimate reviews.
Coordinate with design teams and owners to ensure accurate estimates.
