Job summary

ColoradoCrete is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to own estimating for residential and commercial construction projects across Colorado. This role goes beyond desk work, connecting estimating decisions to project execution and working closely with General Contractors and the operations team.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, develop budgets, and prepare competitive bids. Proficiency with Procore, Autodesk, Buildertrend is preferred; strong communication and field-oriented

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with estimating or related roles.
• Proven ability to develop estimates, budgets, bids.
• Strong reading of drawings and specs.
• Bidding and preconstruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the estimating process for residential and commercial projects from bid to award.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine costs.
• Develop budgets and pricing, identify scope gaps and risks before bids.
• Manage multiple bids with strong organization and complete documentation.
• Communicate with General Contractors to review scope and build relationships.
• Partner with leadership to transition awarded work from estimating to execution.
• Use platforms like Procore, Autodesk, Buildertrend to access plans and project info.
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and profitability.
