Consigli Construction Co. seeks an experienced estimator to lead the estimating process for complex, large-scale projects in the Estimating division.

The role collaborates with clients, designers and subcontractors to prepare accurate time, cost and labor estimates and to develop value engineering options. Qualified candidates bring 8+ years in construction and a BS/MS in Engineering or Construction Management, with advanced Excel and estimating software proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 8+ years of experience in construction.
• 3+ years of estimating field experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with specialized estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, exceeding client expectations.
• Build relationships with clients, designers and subcontractors to understand needs.
• Analyze drawings, specs, proposals to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
• Facilitate collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for materials and labor.
• Develop value engineering and risk analyses.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation and selection.
• Prepare budgets, GMPs, and in-house cost summaries.
