Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking an Estimator to support the sales team with project quotes and pricing. You will prepare a bill of materials and cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements, and communicate with departments, vendors, employees, and customers to ensure timely and accurate paperwork.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and additional technical materials for troubleshooting circuit breakers and electrical power equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with customers and peers.
• Dependable and responsible with good judgment and organizational skills.
• Good customer service, time management and follow-up skills.
• Self-management of assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates.
• Negotiation skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Able to work with various people throughout the organization-Customer Focused.
• Focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• If necessary, will visit Customer Site for job walk.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements based on the documents provided. Create bill of materials (BOM), order materials and approving all material invoices.
• Computes costs by analyzing the labor, material, and time requirements.
• Requesting quotes for equipment and Power components from supplier
• Perform Takeoffs and estimates for work position is quoting.
• Create proposals and regularly following up on prepared bids.
• Coordinating work with Sales staff, project managers and General Manager.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and industry publications.
• Contributes to team effort by meeting company and Customer expectations.
• All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance with all regulatory law.
• Observe all safety rules and Best Practices; Follow all company policies and procedures.
