Job summary

RESA Power is seeking an Estimator to support sales with project quotes, pricing, and BOM creation. You will analyze requirements, prepare takeoffs, and generate proposals for electrical testing and maintenance projects.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in blueprints, AutoCAD, and MS Office, plus strong communication and organizational skills. On-site at Wixom, MI with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and technical materials.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and peers.
• Strong organization, time management, and reliability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within budgeted estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Create BOMs, cost estimates, and material orders; route for approvals as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales staff, project managers, and GM to finalize bids.
• Attend customer sites for walk-throughs when required.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory laws and safety practices.
