Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare bid and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Senior Estimator leads other estimators, coordinates with suppliers and customers, and ensures timely completion of client documents.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, plus min 4 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering design drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group work.
• Mentor and assist the development of Estimators.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete estimate.
• Review specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Evaluate value engineering opportunities for cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing sub estimates.
• Maintain backup documentation for estimate figures.
