Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Estimator to join our construction team on permanent basis. This role centers on estimating, cost analysis, and project management for design-build projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing cost estimates with BlueBeam, managing RFQs and bids, and collaborating with PMs to meet budgets and schedules. A minimum of 5 years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimation, senior role preferred.
• Proficiency with BlueBeam or equivalent software.
• Experience with base building construction projects.
• Ability to interpret two-dimensional drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using industry tools.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and other construction costs.
• Prepare RFQs, track bids, and coordinate with project managers.
• Develop written proposals and present to clients.
• Negotiate contracts and cost estimates for best outcomes.
• Develop timelines and budgets based on construction knowledge.
• Collaborate with team to complete design-build projects on time and budget.
