BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. You will determine construction project costs by analyzing plans, specs, and documents, and prepare detailed cost proposals.

This role focuses on concrete and asphalt estimating, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate, competitive bids while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimating, with concrete/asphalt focus.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Familiar with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment of cost estimates with project requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cost databases and stay current with market pricing and construction methods.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, safety meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.
• Ensure all estimates meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Track and update project budgets, costs, and changes throughout lifecycles.
