Are you an experienced commercial drywall estimator looking to make an impact with a growing construction company?

An established and expanding commercial drywall contractor is seeking a highly experienced

Senior Estimator to join its team in the Dallas, Georgia area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who understands commercial drywall estimating, can manage the process from bid invitation through proposal submission, and can confidently take ownership of estimating responsibilities from day one.

The company is experiencing significant growth and is investing in its people, processes, and leadership team. This individual will play an important role in supporting that growth while strengthening and developing the estimating department.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President of Preconstruction, the Senior Estimator will lead the preparation of accurate, competitive estimates for commercial drywall projects.

You’ll work alongside an established preconstruction team, including developing estimators and takeoff support personnel, providing experience, guidance, and technical knowledge to help the department continue to grow.

• Lead the estimating process for commercial drywall construction projects.


• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

Qualifications include:

• Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal framing, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and related scopes.


• Ability to independently perform and manage detailed construction takeoffs.


• Experience reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.


• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material costs, and project pricing.


• Experience preparing estimates for competitive commercial construction bids.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger preconstruction team.
