The role focuses on developing competitive estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, and interior systems, collaborating closely with project management and field teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating in related construction, a strong grasp of drawings and specs, and proficiency with Excel and digital estimating software.

• 5+ years estimating experience in commercial drywall or related construction.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, materials, and labor costs.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates.
• Proficiency with digital estimating software and MS Excel.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with exterior sheathing, ceilings, or large projects is a plus.
• Experience estimating data centers or mission-critical projects is a bonus.

We are partnering with an established commercial specialty contractor in the Phoenix area seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join its growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and interior construction who enjoys developing competitive estimates, analyzing project costs, and collaborating closely with project management and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, ceilings, partitions, and related specialty construction scopes.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
• Identify potential project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare competitive bids, proposals, budgets, and change order estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and field operations to ensure accurate project handoffs.

Qualifications
