Job summary

NWPX Precast in Texas is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead the estimation process for large-scale precast projects, analyzing architectural and civil documents and managing detailed takeoffs.

You will collaborate across Sales, Project Management, and Operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and competitiveness in bids while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; 5 years estimating in manufacturing/office environment.
• Advanced ability to read blueprints and civil/architectural specs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints to prepare detailed estimates for large-scale projects.
• Lead estimation on specialized precast products and complex structures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Operations on pricing strategies.
• Mentor junior estimators and conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Develop takeoffs and refine estimation processes.
