Job summary

RTX is seeking an Estimating & Pricing Principal Specialist in McKinney, TX to lead proposal pricing efforts for ISRS programs. You will plan, price, and coordinate cost, schedule, and technical elements in response to RFPs, partnering with program leadership, finance, and engineering.

The role requires a Bachelor’s with 5+ years or an advanced degree with 3+ years; experience with ProPricer, ACES, and MS Excel; and the ability to work with senior management and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with Proposal Development and/or Cost Volume Management.
• Experience with industry estimating and pricing, policy, practices and/or procedures.
• Experience with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule proposal efforts.
• Participate in proposal pricing activities and Cost Volume Development across all proposal phases.
• Compile cost, schedule and technical elements per RFPs and FAR compliance.
• Coordinate collection of cost, scheduling and performance elements from departments.
• Analyze BOMs and BOEs for reasonableness and backup data.
• Support DCAA proposal audits and participate in contract negotiations.
