You will lead subcontractor/vendord solicitation, develop win strategies, and mentor teams within preconstruction. The role emphasizes accuracy, detailed take-offs, and collaboration with business development to cultivate client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or engineering required.
• 5+ years estimating, design management or field management experience preferred.
• Experience with earthwork estimation and site utilities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and review bid documents with timely submissions.
• Create complete quantity take-offs to build estimates.
• Assist with execution plans and win strategies.
• Prepare detailed and well-annotated estimates.
• Develop comprehensive proposals with bid forms and supporting docs.
• Solicit and manage subcontractors and vendors during preconstruction.
• Participate in peer bid reviews and contract reviews for compliance.
• Update bid status weekly and during estimating meetings.
• Support project managers with questions about estimates.
