McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to participate in all aspects of bid and estimating activities.

You will review plans, solicit pricing, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers, handling complex trade packages and self-perform work. The role requires taking-off quantities, scoping, and assembling estimates for presentation to owners, with strong collaboration across architects, consultants, and internal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize cost data from multiple sources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a self-starter mindset.

Responsabilités

• Assist in pricing and bidding of projects, handling complex trade categories.
• Lead preconstruction and estimating activities on small projects.
• Document assumptions during early-design estimating and apply to takeoffs.
