Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior-level Estates & Trusts paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of probate, estate administration, and trust administration processes.
• Extensive experience preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estate/tax administration software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage matters independently from inception through completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in a busy Estates & Trusts practice.
• Manage probate and estate administration matters from opening through closing.
• Prepare and file estate, gift, fiduciary income, and related state tax returns.
• Draft estate planning and estate administration documents.
• Coordinate with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and financial institutions.
• Organize and maintain estate, probate, and trust administration files.
• Utilize estate administration and tax software for filings, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court and tax filing requirements.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
