Job summary

Tech7 in El Segundo, CA, seeks an ESS Test and Evaluation Engineer to lead test and evaluation efforts for MILSATCOM systems. The role focuses on developing TEMP, SITP, SEP, and related documents, while coordinating across multiple IPTs and government interfaces.

The position requires on-site work in a secure facility and a DoD Secret clearance, with 8+ years in systems engineering and testing. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, physics, or CS.
8+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering.
8+ years with system test, verification, or analysis.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
On-site work in a secure facility.

Responsibilities

Develop T&E strategy, TEMP, requirement verification and test plans, objectives and evaluation criteria.
Support SITP and SEP development/update.
Collect, review, analyze and report T&E data; document assessments and recommendations.
Support the implementation of a common T&E database; integrate Digital Engineering and Environment processes.
Support T&E reviews, IPTs, DRBs, MIPRBs, TIMs.
Review and assess test and integration-related deliverables with IPTs.
Develop and present packages communicating recommendations and strategies to customers; conduct IPT meetings.
Develop and document risks and mitigation plans; use Jira and Confluence for various efforts.
