KBR is seeking a Senior Evolved Strategic Systems (ESS) Ground Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This on-site role integrates satellite ground systems, coordinates with the US Space Force, and leads technical discussions across multiple stakeholders.

Applicants should have 15+ years in systems engineering for space/defense programs, MILSATCOM experience, and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years experience in systems engineering, integration, or architecture development for complex aerospace/defense/space systems.
• Experience with MILSATCOM programs (AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, FAB-T).
• Experience with government/DoD civilians and cross-domain collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESS ground systems engineering and integration activities across satellite ground architectures and baselines.
• Analyze requirements and verify the technical baseline across multiple stakeholders.
• Apply Digital Engineering methods (MBSE, Digital Twins, digital threads) to ground architectures.
• Collaborate with Government and contractor teams to resolve gaps and conduct reviews.
• Lead government/contractor Working Group meetings and write action minutes.
• Review changes for impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder concerns.
• Conduct trade studies and assessments of alternative solutions (cost, schedule, performance).
• Facilitate program documentation reviews and adjudicate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Prepare briefings for US Space Force program office and other stakeholders.
