Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our MILSATCOM team. The role focuses on AI&T for space and ground systems, requiring hands-on technical assessment and cross-functional collaboration with government stakeholders and prime contractors.

You will lead and support System of Systems integration activities, evaluate readiness, identify risks, and develop actionable technical recommendations to support program decisions. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science.
• 8+ years of experience with SATCOM requirements development, AI&T, system testing, and production activities.
• Experience supporting program office technical, schedule, and cost activities including risk/issue identification.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical details to government leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support to US Government and Tactical SATCOM Program Office organizations for AI&T and interoperability across space, ground, and enterprise interfaces.
• Participate in regular technical and programmatic meetings with government stakeholders and prime contractors.
• Perform independent technical assessments of prime contractor AI&T activities.
• Identify discrepancies between planned and actual performance, including cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Provide written/verbal assessments of progress, risk posture, and recommended actions.
