Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an ESS Technology Specialist 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Huntsville, AL. You will analyze system performance and support the design, integration, and maintenance of electronic security services for federal, local and commercial customers.

The role requires experience with installation, troubleshooting, networked systems, access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance. Occasional travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 12+ years of experience in installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems.
• Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience or Bachelor's with 7+ years or Master's with 5+ years.
• System administrator experience including triage on system problems and deploying new workstations.
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide support to the system administration and engineering team for troubleshooting networks and systems.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and administrators.
• Train system users and support personnel.
• Document system performance and service records.
