Job summary

ODOT is seeking an experienced Enterprise GIS Administrator/Engineer to support its Information Technology – 3rd Party Application Support Team. The role focuses on administering Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro) and ensuring secure, scalable GIS infrastructure within a large enterprise.

Qualifications

Experience in enterprise IT and GIS administration within a large organization.
Expertise administering Esri ArcGIS enterprise environments.
Ability to design and implement GIS infrastructure with security and automation.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
Monitor GIS infrastructure and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues.
Design and deploy GIS environments based on business requirements and provide documentation.
Automate GIS administration and operational processes (ETL, environment administration, monitoring).
Ensure compliance with enterprise IT security standards and role-based access controls.
Provide guidance for integrating ArcGIS platforms with other enterprise systems.
Develop REST services and Python scripts for GIS administration and data processing.
Prepare project status and performance metrics for teams and management.
