Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in escrow or related roles.
• Notary certification within 90 days of starting or already held.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Meets with attorneys, realtors, lenders, and customers to draft escrow instructions and agreements for residential and basic commercial closings.
• Checks title commitments and tax certificates for accuracy and clears title problems before closing.
• Sets up accurate escrow files and handles initial filings, deposits, and documents.
• Prepares for closing, requests pay-off statements, and coordinates loan figures and lender instructions.
• Disburses funds per standard procedures and manages trust accounts.
• Maintains client communications by phone, in person, or by correspondence.
• Develops and maintains a client base through effective marketing and quality service.
