We are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer to join 7C Escrow in San Clemente. Responsibilities
The Senior Escrow Officer will manage residential escrow transactions from opening through closing while providing exceptional communication and service to agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, title representatives, and all parties involved.
Responsibilities include:
- Experienced in managing escrow files from opening to closing
- Open, process, and close residential resale escrow transactions in accordance with company procedures, contract terms, lender instructions, title requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Review purchase agreements, escrow instructions, amendments, disclosures, title reports, lender documents, commission instructions, and closing documents.
- Prepare escrow instructions, amendments, estimated settlement statements, closing statements, and other escrow-related documents.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, transaction coordinators, and vendors.
- Coordinate signing appointments, loan document execution, funding, recording, disbursements, and final closing procedures.
- Monitor deadlines, file progress, contingencies, payoffs, demands, reports, and all required documentation.
- Identify and resolve escrow issues calmly, efficiently, and professionally.
- Maintain accurate escrow files, notes, documentation, and compliance standards.
- Provide a high level of client service that supports repeat business, referrals, and long-term relationships.
- Work collaboratively with ownership and team members to improve systems, communication, and the overall client experience.
- Represent 7C Escrow with professionalism, confidence, and care in every interaction.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an experienced escrow professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a desk with confidence and professionalism.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 5+ years of escrow officer experience, preferably in California residential resale escrow.
- Strong knowledge of the full escrow process from opening through closing.
- Experience with purchase transactions, refinances, loan documents, title requirements, funding, recording, and disbursement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional phone presence and strong client service skills.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities at one time.
- Familiarity with escrow software SMS and Greenfolders, digital workflows, and standard escrow procedures.
- Established real estate agent relationships or book of business is strongly preferred.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to help grow the company.
