Job summary

IAP World Services is seeking a seasoned Environmental, Safety & Health Manager to lead and govern ESH programs across large projects in Virginia and Maryland. The role focuses on training, budgeting, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe, productive work environment.

Responsibilities include guiding project teams, overseeing ESH documentation, and applying advanced safety practices within client requirements and applicable laws, with TOP SECRET SCI clearance requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Sciences or related field.
10+ years of related work experience; 14 years if non-degreed.
Professional Certification in Industrial Hygiene, Safety or Environmental Sciences (CIH, CSP, QEP).
Strong communication and ability to lead across teams and functions.

Responsibilities

Lead and train staff on ESH activities for large projects, including budgeting, staffing, and certification programs.
Provide guidance on ESH practices to lines of business and project teams per regulations.
Make decisions on engineering/scientific issues using advanced ESH methods and analyses.
Implement ESH programs, site plans, orientation, and recognition to balance safety with productivity.
