Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer to maintain, enhance, and modernize our ERP infrastructure. You will own ERP projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure stability while adopting new tools and approaches.

The role emphasizes mentoring, rigorous SDLC adherence, and delivering enterprise applications integrated with current systems. On-site in Oxnard, CA, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years of software development experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work on-site in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ERP systems, leading cross-functional projects.
• Lead challenging development tasks and drive key technical initiatives.
• Adopt new tools and methodologies while preserving system stability.
• Mentor junior developers and remove blockers for the team.
• Follow SDLC processes with rigor and consistency.
• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications with ERP integrity.
• Design complex applications and ensure seamless integration with existing infra.
• Code review to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Create detailed documentation for long-term maintenance.
• Communicate complex software concepts to operations teams.
• Translate requirements into robust interfaces.
• Manage time in a deadline-driven environment.
• Supervise staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
