Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise ERP systems and understanding how ERP modules interact and exchange data.
• Strong software development experience in SQL, Python, C, Java, or RPG.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, architecture, testing practices, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise ERP applications and related business systems.
• Participate in a major ERP platform upgrade including development, testing, deployment, user support, and training.
• Analyze ERP modules, workflows, and data movement across internal and external systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and system enhancements.

We are seeking a Senior ERP Systems Engineer to support a growing enterprise environment with a strong focus on ERP applications, software development, system integrations, and infrastructure technologies. This individual will play a key role in an upcoming ERP platform upgrade while supporting custom application development, system enhancements, integrations, security initiatives, and ongoing operational support.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems, understanding how data flows between modules and external applications, and developing solutions using modern programming languages, APIs, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise ERP applications and related business systems.
• Participate in a major ERP platform upgrade, including development, testing, deployment, user support, and training activities.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting ERP platforms such as VAI S2K, Vormittag Associates (VAI), AS/400, or similar ERP environments.
• Experience with JSON, data transformation, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including:
