Capaxrm is seeking an ERP Application Analyst in Charlotte, NC, offering hands-on ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other ERP systems. The role focuses on supporting ERP across Manufacturing, Warehousing, Inventory, Purchasing and Finance, with opportunities to grow in Business Central and learn AL skills.

The position is hands-on, involves troubleshooting, configuration, reporting, and process improvements, and requires comfort with investigating ERP issues directly

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ERP application support across Manufacturing, Warehousing, Inventory, Purchasing and Finance.
• Troubleshoot system issues and investigate transactions within the ERP environment.
• Support ERP configuration, workflows and system improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance on General Ledger, AP, AR and reporting needs.
• Develop or modify reports using SQL, SSRS, Power BI and other tools.
• Gather requirements and translate into practical system enhancements.
• Support third-party integrations, testing, and user training.

We're hiring an ERP Application Analyst for a growing manufacturing business in the Charlotte area. This is an opportunity for someone with strong hands-on ERP experience to learn Business Central, while taking ownership of application support, configuration, reporting and system improvements.

The business is planning significant growth through future acquisitions, creating opportunities to get involved in ERP implementations and work across a wider manufacturing operation.

About the role

You'll join a small internal IT team, supporting ERP applications across Manufacturing, Production, Warehousing, Inventory, Purchasing and Finance.

This is a hands-on position combining application support, troubleshooting, system configuration, reporting and business process improvement. You'll work directly with users to understand problems, investigate issues within the ERP system and help implement solutions.

You don't need previous Business Central experience. The business is open to someone with strong experience in another ERP system who is interested in learning the Microsoft Dynamics platform.

What you'll be doing

• Providing hands-on ERP application support across Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehousing, Purchasing and Finance
• Troubleshooting system issues, investigating transactions and resolving problems directly within the ERP environment
• Supporting ERP configuration, workflows and system improvements
• Working with Finance teams across General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Writing SQL queries and developing or modifying reports using SQL, SSRS, Power BI and other reporting tools
• Gathering requirements from business users and translating them into practical system improvements
• Supporting third-party integrations, testing, documentation and user training
• Getting involved in future ERP implementations as the business grows and acquires additional companies

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience supporting and configuring an ERP system such as NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, Dynamics F&O, Business Central or a similar platform
• Experience working within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ERP finance processes
• SQL, reporting or other technical ERP experience
• Experience troubleshooting application issues and working directly with business users

  You don't need to be a software developer, but you should be comfortable investigating and resolving issues within an ERP system, rather than solely coordinating work for developers.
