Job summary

Ascensus, in partnership with FuturePlan, seeks a technical corrections expert to serve clients nationwide from its PA offices. You will apply IRS and DOL guidelines, perform Excel-based calculations, and deliver correction packets.

The role emphasizes consulting with internal and external clients, developing training materials, and participating in special projects (IT, research). A Bachelor's in business or related field and ASPPA designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• ASPPA designations preferred (QKA, QKS, QKC, QPA, CPC, QP3).
• Experience with retirement plans or ERISA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting on corrections issues, IRS and DOL guidance.
• Conduct research, write technical articles and update ERISA policy statements.
• Create correction packets and perform fee-for-service engagements.
• Lead IT and project management initiatives.
• Deliver training and present corrections topics.
• Review documents and Ascensus forms.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Ascensus and FuturePlan tools (ARK, Salesforce, AXIS).
