Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a Senior ED Technician for per diem coverage.

Under the direct supervision of the registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, document vitals, transport patients, and assist with moving and lifting. This flexible per diem role supports a busy ED and offers a convenient schedule while contributing to high-quality acute-care services.

Qualifications

• Current AEMT Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to Emergency Dept patients under direct supervision of RN or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs; reports abnormal results immediately.
• Transports patients to other departments and inpatient units as needed.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
