Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Senior Stock Plan Services Associate in Overland Park, KS to perform advanced operational support for Stock Plan Services, act as SME for equity compensation operations, and ensure accuracy of complex stock plan transactions.

The role requires FINRA Series 7/24, licensing, and at least four years in financial services. You will collaborate with multiple teams to drive process improvements and maintain strong controls while supporting company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum four years of financial services experience.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 registrations required.
• Fully licensed candidates preferred; FINRA Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME across Stock Plan Services operations, brokerage operations, equity compensation processes, and securities transaction workflows.
• Perform Principal Review and acceptance of new account applications in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Process and review complex stock plan transactions, reconciliations, and participant account activity.
• Prioritize workload to meet established service-level commitments.
• Provide technical guidance to associates and internal business partners on complex stock plan processes and issues.
• Research, resolve, review, and approve complex operational exceptions within policies and authority.
• Support equity compensation programs including RSUs, stock options, ESPPs, and Rule 10b5‑1 trading programs.
• Evaluate and implement workflow improvements, control enhancements, and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Support leadership through transaction reviews, audits, reporting, and training.
• Implement regulatory changes within processes while maintaining controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support initiatives.
• Mentor associates by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
