Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Waipahu, Hawaii is seeking a Master Technician to perform repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of equipment in the service shop or in the field, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and minimal rework.

The candidate should have 10+ years of CAT equipment experience, own tools, and valid driver's license, with strong communication skills and PC proficiency. The role requires travel to HPC territory and participation in training programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Must have PC skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Forklift certification or able to obtain within 60 days.
• Must own hand tools suitable to perform the work.
• Must have 10 years experience in repair and maintenance of CAT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work within 95% or less of the flat rate time target.
• Assist in training personnel and travel across the HPC territory to help technicians.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems in CAT and Allied products.
• Make warranty recommendations and prepare reports for warranty service.
